I handle the setup and testing, then you try it yourself. For a lesson, we work through the skills you want to practise.

How much does a visit cost?
We agree on a flat price for your setup or lesson before I arrive. It includes time for a walkthrough and written notes. Tell me your list when booking so we can plan what to cover. If I can't help on a first visit, you don't pay.
Can I book regular lessons?
Yes. Start with one session or arrange follow-up lessons to build on what you've learned. We choose the topics together and agree on each visit in advance. There's no subscription required.
I'm not very good with technology. Is that okay?
More than okay, it's most of what I do. There are no silly questions and I never talk down to anyone. Go at whatever pace feels comfortable.
Do you come to me, or do I bring things to you?
I come to you. Setup and lessons make more sense with your own Wi-Fi, TV and desk, where you use them every day. House calls across Leslieville and the east end.
Can you still help if something isn't working?
Yes. I troubleshoot connection problems, slow computers, printers and account access. Tell me what's happening before booking. If it needs a specialist hardware repair, I'll explain that before we plan the work.
Can you help my parents if I live out of town?
Yes, that's one of my most common calls, and there's a whole page on it: booking tech help for a parent. You and I sort out the details by phone or email, I visit them at home anywhere in Leslieville, Greektown, downtown Toronto, Rosedale, Leaside, plus Riverdale, the Beaches and the rest of the east end, and you get a plain-language summary afterwards.
How soon can you come?
Usually the same week, often within a day or two. For anything urgent, locked out, hacked, scammed, call and I'll do my best to get there fast.
